Program Overview
Over the Easter school holidays, I ran my inaugural AFL Performance Program for young footballers aged 11–15 years.
Athletes were split into two age groups, with numbers capped at 12 per group to ensure a high level of coaching, individual feedback and quality training throughout the week.
The program combined strength training, AFL skill development and performance testing to help athletes better understand how to train for their sport while developing the physical qualities that transfer to on-field performance.
Every athlete also received an individual performance report highlighting their testing results, strengths and key areas to focus on moving forward.
